J.J. Spaun wins BMW PGA Championship by 2 strokes

American golfer J.J. Spaun won the BMW PGA Championship on the European Tour by two strokes, birdying four of his last five holes to secure the victory. Spaun, who had been passed over for Presidents Cup selection, claimed the title with a strong closing stretch. The win came despite Race to Dubai leader Patrick Reed withdrawing from the tournament after injuring his hand.
