Jockey banned for hitting horse on head with whip in stalls and faces disqualification

Jockey Diego Lima has received a two-day ban after striking his horse, Ranting Duke, on the head with a whip while in the stalls at York. The incident has also triggered a review of Lima's overall whip usage by a British Horseracing Authority (BHA) committee. The jockey now faces potential disqualification pending the outcome of that review.
