Joseph Parker cleared to fight, suspension lifted after positive drug test

Heavyweight boxer Joseph Parker has had his provisional suspension lifted after testing positive for cocaine on the day of his October defeat to Fabio Wardley in London. Parker, 34, confirmed on Wednesday that he is cleared to fight again, with the British Boxing Board of Control also issuing a statement confirming the suspension has been lifted. Parker's team had maintained throughout that the positive VADA test result was due to contamination.
