Josh Kerr conjures more mile magic to take Commonwealth title

Josh Kerr won the men's mile at the 2024 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow on August 1, clocking 3:54.12 to emphatically beat a top-class field. The result came just two weeks after Kerr broke the 27-year-old world mile record with 3:42.66 in London. Australia's Cameron Myers finished second in 3:55.26, with Kenya's Timothy Cheruiyot third in 3:55.41.
