João Palhinha keeps Spurs’ survival hopes alive with late winner at Wolves

Substitute João Palhinha scored a late winner in the 82nd minute to give Tottenham a victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers, briefly lifting Spurs out of the relegation zone. The goal, assisted indirectly by Richarlison and originating from a Pedro Porro corner, also prevented Tottenham from setting a club record of 16 consecutive league games without a win. Palhinha was played onside by former Spurs defender Matt Doherty.
