Janson Junk returned from the 15-day injured list to pitch five solid innings, leading the Miami Marlins to an 8-4 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Thursday night at loanDepot park. The win pushed Miami's record to 52-42, marking their sixth consecutive victory and putting them 10 games over .500 for the first time since July 17, 2023. The Marlins have gone an MLB-best 26-8 since June 1 and recorded their seventh sweep of the season, tied with the Dodgers for the most in the National League.
