Kane falls short of Ronaldo's UCL goal record

Harry Kane failed to equal Cristiano Ronaldo's record of scoring in 11 consecutive Champions League matches, as he went scoreless in Bayern Munich's 2-0 victory over Atlético Madrid on Tuesday. Kane had scored in 10 straight Champions League appearances, with his most recent goal being a penalty against Arsenal on matchday three. Ronaldo set the record of 11 consecutive scoring appearances across the 2016-17 and 2017-18 Champions League seasons with Real Madrid.
