Kane leads England past Czechia in record outing

Harry Kane scored a brace and made his record-equalling 125th England appearance, tying Peter Shilton as the country's most-capped men's player, as England beat Czechia 3-0 in a UEFA Nations League Group A3 match on October 6, 2026. Kane's involvement led to a Vladimír Coufal own goal in the 27th minute, before Kane scored in the 40th and 57th minutes, taking his international goal tally to 91. The result all but secured England's place in the Nations League knockouts, with Thomas Tuchel's side six points clear of third-placed Croatia with two games remaining.
