Kansas City re-signs veteran CB L’Jarius Sneed in secondary boost
The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed veteran cornerback L'Jarius Sneed to a one-year contract worth up to $5 million, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Sneed was originally drafted by Kansas City in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft and spent four seasons with the team, recording 10 interceptions and 40 passes defended while helping the Chiefs win back-to-back Super Bowls in 2022 and 2023. He was traded to the Tennessee Titans before the 2024 season but struggled with injuries, appearing in just 12 games over two seasons before being released.
