Kansas softball earns walk-off win against Michigan in NCAA regional

Kansas softball defeated Michigan 1-0 in a walk-off victory during their NCAA regional opener on Friday in Norman, Oklahoma. Sophomore Ava Wallace delivered the game-winning single in the bottom of the eighth inning, while freshman Lila Partridge threw eight scoreless innings. The win marked Kansas's first NCAA tournament appearance since 2015, improving the Jayhawks' record to 36-19, with a matchup against Oklahoma scheduled for Saturday, May 16.
