Kazuyoshi Miura: World's oldest professional footballer, 59, scores first goal in nearly four years

Kazuyoshi Miura, the world's oldest professional footballer at age 59, scored his first goal in nearly four years playing for Japanese third-tier side Fukushima United. He netted in the 52nd minute to make it 5-0 during an eventual 7-0 victory over Iwaki Furukawa in the Emperor's Cup on Saturday. Miura, a Japan legend who scored 55 international goals, last scored before this appearance in 2022.
