Keely Hodgkinson has to settle for silver as Audrey Werro takes Ultimate gold

At the Ultimate Championships in Budapest, Swiss runner Audrey Werro claimed the 800m gold and $150,000 first prize with a dominant display, defeating Olympic champion Keely Hodgkinson of Britain, who had to settle for silver. The 22-year-old Werro continued her outstanding 2026 form, outperforming Hodgkinson and Dutch star Femke Broeders-Bol. In the 1500m, Georgia Hunter Bell finished second to Kazimierska.
