Kentucky Football has secured a commitment from 3-star edge rusher Jaylen Mercer for its 2027 recruiting class, as announced on Friday, June 13, 2026. Mercer, a 6-foot-5, 230-pound prospect from Cincinnati, Ohio, chose the Wildcats over high-profile programs including Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Oregon, Tennessee, and Michigan, among others.
