Kevin Durant aims to make Lakers pay for double team tactics
Houston Rockets star Kevin Durant was heavily double-teamed by the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 2 of their first-round Western Conference playoff series, finishing with 20 first-half points but only 3 in the second half. Durant committed a season-high nine turnovers and took just 12 shots, well below his season average, as the fourth-seeded Lakers defeated fifth-seeded Houston 101-94 to take a 2-0 series lead. Durant has vowed to be more assertive and make better decisions to exploit the double-team strategy going forward.
