Kilmarnock joins Scottish football in going back to the future

The SPFL Tennent's Sixes, a small-sided indoor football tournament originally held from 1984 to 1993, is returning on October 3-4 at Braehead Arena, with all 12 William Hill Premiership clubs participating in a legends format. Kilmarnock will face Celtic, Rangers, and St Mirren on day one of the group stages, with matches broadcast live on Premier Sports. The revived tournament features regionalised groups, knockout stages, and a sin bin rule, with Partick Thistle having been the last winners of the original competition in 1993.
