Kings’ Darius Acuff Jr. joins rare air with Oscar Robertson, Isiah Thomas after monster game vs. Pelicans

Sacramento Kings rookie point guard Darius Acuff Jr., selected seventh overall in the 2026 NBA Draft, put together a standout performance against the New Orleans Pelicans that drew comparisons to NBA legends Oscar Robertson and Isiah Thomas. The game, played in the early days of the 2026-27 NBA season, highlighted the young guard's star potential despite the Kings being projected as one of the league's worst teams. Acuff Jr.'s performance marks a rare statistical achievement shared by only a handful of elite point guards in NBA history.
