Knicks storm through San Antonio to take Game 2, head home with NBA Finals lead
The New York Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs 105-104 in Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Friday night, taking a 2-0 series lead. Victor Wembanyama scored 29 points for San Antonio but missed a last-second jumper that would have won the game, while Karl-Anthony Towns led New York with 21 points and 13 rebounds. The Knicks, who have now won 13 consecutive playoff games β the second-longest streak in NBA playoff history β will host Games 3 and 4 at Madison Square Garden, and are two wins away from their first championship since 1973.
