Knuble nets first two NHL goals, Flyers defeat Sabres

Cole Knuble scored his first two NHL goals in just his second career game to lead the Philadelphia Flyers to a 3-1 victory over the Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center on Wednesday. The win was Philadelphia's third straight and their first road win of the season (1-4-1), with Oliver Bonk adding two assists and goaltender Dan Vladar making 27 saves. Knuble, a fourth-round pick (103rd overall) in the 2023 NHL Draft and son of former NHL forward Mike Knuble, made his NHL debut just two days earlier on Monday against the Colorado Avalanche.
