KTM replaces Vinales with Espargaro for British GP

Maverick Vinales will miss the British Grand Prix at Silverstone due to a shoulder injury sustained at the Sachsenring in July 2025, with KTM's MotoGP test rider Pol Espargaro stepping in as his replacement for the Tech3 team. The decision was made following consultations during the summer break and a visit to the Red Bull Athlete Performance Centre. Vinales, who has not finished higher than 11th this season, is dealing with limited strength in external rotation of his left arm, and no timeline has been given for his potential return to the RC16.
