Kurt Kitayama becomes 2nd player with a Sunday 63 in PGA Championship history
Kurt Kitayama shot a 7-under 63 on Sunday at the 2026 PGA Championship held at the par-70 Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, tying the lowest final round in major championship history. He became the ninth player ever to shoot a 63 in a major's final round and only the second to do so in PGA Championship history. Kitayama's bogey-free round included just 28 putts, with the overall major record of 62 having been achieved five times, most recently by Shane Lowry and Xander Schauffele at the 2024 PGA Championship.
