Kyle Walker targets instant Burnley Premier League return

Burnley defender Kyle Walker has urged his team-mates to avoid a post-relegation 'hangover' as the club targets an immediate return to the Premier League. The Clarets finished 19th in the 2025-26 Premier League season and open their Championship campaign on Sunday at home to West Ham, who were also relegated. Burnley have previously bounced back instantly from relegation in 2021-22 and 2023-24, winning promotion at the first attempt on both occasions.
