LAFC co-managing owner Larry Berg voted as next MLS commissioner

Larry Berg, a senior partner at private equity firm 26North and co-managing owner of LAFC, has been voted as the next MLS commissioner. He will succeed current commissioner Don Garber, who has held the role for many years, with the transition set to take place in 2027. Berg was notably seen celebrating with LAFC at the 2024 US Open Cup win.
