Lakers assign Bronny Games to G League Coachella Valley Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers have assigned Bronny James to their G League affiliate, the Coachella Valley Lakers, as of November 6, 2026. The move follows a similar assignment of Dalton Knecht, with both players being squeezed out of the rotation by the Lakers' new offensive system built around Luka Doncic. The team is prioritizing guards who can shoot and defend around Doncic and Austin Reaves.
