Lakers make two hires to front office, including assistant GM

The Los Angeles Lakers have made two new front office hires, bringing in former Miami Heat executive Eric Amsler as assistant general manager. Keith D'Amelio has also been hired to focus on integrated performance systems. The additions represent an expansion of the Lakers' front office leadership structure.
