Lando Norris admits ‘we’ve been disappointed’ with F1 2026 performance

Reigning Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris has admitted that he and McLaren are disappointed with their 2026 season performance, despite winning the Hungarian Grand Prix. The team is currently third in the Constructors' Championship, 159 points behind leaders Mercedes, and has acknowledged being approximately three months behind rivals in development. Norris himself trails championship leader Kimi Antonelli by 91 points as the sport enters its summer shutdown.
