Lando Norris calls for drivers to have a ‘seat at the table’ for building F1 regulations
Lando Norris has publicly called for Formula 1 drivers to have a formal role in shaping future regulations, stating that drivers from first to last place are aligned in wanting to race flat out and closely. Speaking through the Grand Prix Drivers' Association (GPDA), Norris acknowledged drivers must also accept their limited perspective on the business side of the sport. His comments come amid controversy over the 2026 F1 regulations, which have already prompted changes at the Miami Grand Prix, with further rule adjustments being considered for 2027, including a revised 60:40 internal combustion to electrical power split.
