Lando Norris calls for drivers to have a ‘seat at the table’ for building F1 regulations
Lando Norris has called for Formula 1 drivers to have a direct role in shaping future regulations, stating that drivers from first to last place share the same goals of close racing and flat-out competition. Speaking to media including Motorsport Week, Norris confirmed the Grand Prix Drivers' Association (GPDA) is aligned on seeking 'a seat at the table' in regulatory discussions. His comments come amid controversy over the 2026 F1 regulations, which prompted changes at the Miami Grand Prix, with further rule adjustments — including a 60:40 combustion-to-electrical power split — being considered for 2027.
