Lando Norris criticises McLaren strategy error in Belgian GP

Lando Norris publicly criticised McLaren's strategy during the 2026 Belgian Grand Prix, claiming the team made his race 'as difficult as possible' by keeping him on his first set of hard tyres for 30 laps. Norris, who was already starting from a disadvantaged position due to a 10-place grid penalty for a fourth Control Electronics Unit violation, ultimately finished seventh in the 44-lap race. Despite the difficult circumstances, Norris suggested he had the pace to challenge for a higher result had the strategy been handled differently.
