Lando Norris makes Monza-style chaos prediction for Sepang’s F1 return
Formula 1 is returning to Malaysia's Sepang International Circuit for the first time in nine years, with the race running under the Bahrain Grand Prix title. McLaren driver Lando Norris has predicted a chaotic race weekend, comparing it to the 2024 Italian Grand Prix at Monza, citing the circuit's high-speed straights and the demands of battery management under the sport's new 2025 regulations. Norris, who joined the F1 grid in 2019, two years after F1's last Sepang visit, noted that more than half the current grid has never raced there.
