Lando Norris: Oscar Piastri move complaint made "in the heat of the moment" in Italian GP

Lando Norris has walked back his radio complaints made during the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, describing them as made 'in the heat of the moment' and accepting that his battle with McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri was 'fair'. The two drivers engaged in a protracted fight over fourth place in the closing laps of the 53-lap race, with Piastri and Norris swapping positions from lap 48 onwards, including an incident where Norris put two wheels on the grass. Piastri ultimately held fourth position while Norris finished fifth behind Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton.
