Lando Norris reveals cause of Monaco Grand Prix retirement

Lando Norris retired from the Monaco Grand Prix on lap 45 due to a power unit failure that struck with little warning, marking his second consecutive retirement from a race following a similar issue at the Canadian Grand Prix. The reigning world champion had reported power unit concerns to McLaren from the very start of the race, and an attempted mid-race fix by the team actually worsened the problem before they reverted the change. Norris noted he heard strange noises from the engine before it ultimately failed.
