Lando Norris reveals F1 rivals’ interest rebuffed to sign new McLaren deal

Lando Norris has signed a multi-year contract extension with McLaren that will keep him at the team until at least 2030. Norris revealed that rival F1 teams showed interest in signing him during the four months of contract negotiations, with Red Bull having previously pursued him in the past. Despite the outside interest, Norris described re-signing with McLaren as one of the 'easiest decisions' he has made in Formula 1, having been with the Woking-based team since his debut in 2019.
