Lando Norris signs new McLaren contract until end of 2030

Lando Norris, the reigning Formula 1 world champion, has signed a new contract with McLaren that will keep him at the team until at least the end of 2030, as announced on Saturday, 29 August 2026. In an exclusive BBC Sport interview, Norris described the decision as 'quite an easy yes,' stating he did not consider offers from other teams. Norris has been with McLaren since making his F1 debut in 2019.
