Lando Norris wins Hungarian Grand Prix for 1st victory of Formula 1 season

Lando Norris won the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday, converting pole position into a commanding victory over 70 laps at the Hungaroring Circuit near Budapest to claim his first win of the season and the 12th of his Formula 1 career. Max Verstappen finished second for Red Bull, while Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli completed the podium in third, maintaining his championship lead with 219 points. McLaren's Oscar Piastri, who led much of the first half, retired on lap 56 due to a gearbox failure, while Lewis Hamilton was penalised five seconds for a pit lane speeding infringement.
