Langdon, Vandergriff, Coughlin, and Hall claim inaugural Michigan titles

Shawn Langdon won the Dodge NHRA Great Lakes Nationals while setting a speed record, marking NHRA's long-awaited return to Michigan. Jordan Vandergriff, Troy Coughlin Jr., and John Hall also claimed victories in their respective categories at the inaugural event. The four champions were crowned at what was described as a triumphant return for the NHRA to the Michigan venue.
