Larkin game-time decision for Red Wings after injury, trade request

Dylan Larkin, 30, is listed as a game-time decision for the Detroit Red Wings' season opener against the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday at Little Caesars Arena, pending medical clearance from injured reserve. Coach Todd McLellan confirmed Larkin skated with Lucas Raymond and Viktor Arvidsson at the morning skate and was on the first power-play unit. Larkin, who requested a trade in the offseason and lost his captaincy entering this season, has been sidelined with an upper-body injury sustained during training camp.
