Lauren Olivares Leon Earns LPGA Status

Former NC State golfer Lauren Olivares Leon has clinched her LPGA card for the 2027 season while competing on the Epson Tour, ranking No. 2 in the Race for the Card standings with 2,189.442 points. She secured her status by finishing in the top 15 required to earn an LPGA Tour card, with one tournament still remaining. During her rookie Epson Tour season, she won the Great Lakes Championship at 12-under par and recorded 11 top-10 finishes without a single missed cut.
