Lawrence Dallaglio's 2003 Rugby World Cup winners medal sold at auction for £54,000 at Budds auctioneers, as the 54-year-old former England captain sold a range of career memorabilia following his bankruptcy after his divorce. Other items sold included his 2003 Six Nations winners medal for £7,500 and a British and Irish Lions cap for £11,000. The entire collection raised £100,500, falling short of the predicted £180,000.
