Leah Poulton to join ECB as Managing Director, England Women

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has appointed Leah Poulton as its new Managing Director of England Women, with her role set to begin in November. Poulton, a former Australia batter who earned 90 international caps before retiring in 2015, has spent the past six years as Head of Elite Female Cricket at Cricket New South Wales. She takes on the position at a pivotal time, with England Women having recently reached the ICC Women's T20 World Cup final and the Metro Bank Women's Ashes scheduled on home soil next year.
