LeBron James, PGA Tour partner to launch new golf event

The PGA Tour and LeBron James have partnered to launch the inaugural LeBron James Family Foundation Invitational, scheduled for July 6-7, 2027, at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. The event will feature professional and amateur golfers from the PGA Tour's Pathway to Progression program competing on Firestone's South Course. In addition to competitive golf, the invitational will introduce youth to the sport and provide mentorship opportunities for students in James' 'I PROMISE' Foundation program, which supports families in the Akron area.
