Led by Bruce Thornton, Rockets advance to NBA’s 2026 summer league playoffs

Rookie guard Bruce Thornton scored a game-high 23 points on 53.8% shooting to lead the Houston Rockets to a 100-83 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday. The win improved Houston's record to 3-1 in Las Vegas and clinched a spot in the NBA's 2026 summer league four-team playoff field. Tristen Newton also contributed 20 points and 6 rebounds in the victory.
