Leicestershire deducted points following breach of ECB Pitch Regulations

Leicestershire County Cricket Club has been deducted 27 points from the Rothesay County Championship standings after the Cricket Discipline Panel upheld a Cricket Regulator charge for breaching ECB Pitch Regulations. The breach occurred during their match against Glamorgan at Uptonsteel Grace Road between August 20–23, after the pitch was rated 'poor.' The sanction includes an eight-point deduction, a further eight points suspended until the end of the 2027 season, and a £5,000 fine, with the club having 10 working days to appeal.
