Leicestershire get partial points reprieve but stay in limbo

Leicestershire Cricket Club have had eight points of their 27-point County Championship deduction reinstated following a partial reprieve. Despite the reduction in their penalty, the club's Division One status remains uncertain and in limbo. The decision partially alleviates the points deduction but does not yet resolve their standing in the top tier of the County Championship.
