Lewis Hamilton blames Ferrari after Belgian Grand Prix pit stop fiasco
Lewis Hamilton was involved in a pit stop incident at the Belgian Grand Prix where his Ferrari SF-26 made contact with a mechanic who was adjusting his front wing when Hamilton moved forward after his pit light turned green. The mechanic was unhurt, but Ferrari were penalised for an unsafe release and handed a €30,000 fine, with €10,000 suspended for 12 months. Hamilton retained his fourth-place finish after FIA stewards determined no sporting penalty was warranted, moving him above George Russell into second in the championship standings.
