Lewis Hamilton Blames Ferrari’s Late Pit Call for Costing Him Podium at Hungarian GP

Lewis Hamilton finished fifth at the 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix after a difficult weekend that included a pitlane speeding penalty and what he described as a late pit stop call from Ferrari that cost him a podium position. Hamilton had shown strong pace early in the weekend, topping second practice and provisionally leading Q3. The result left him 50 points behind championship leader Kimi Antonelli.
