Hamilton stated that the energy requirements will fundamentally change how Silverstone feels, describing it as 'a completely different track,' with iconic corners like Copse and Maggotts/Becketts losing much of their challenge. The comments were made during Thursday's FIA press conference ahead of the race weekend on 3 July 2026.
