Lewis Hamilton explains costly British GP jump start
Lewis Hamilton received a five-second time penalty at the British Grand Prix after being judged to have moved before the start lights went out, which he served during a pit stop. The penalty dropped him behind teammate George Russell, and a late safety car deployment further cost him position when he pitted for fresh tyres but the race ended under the safety car. Hamilton ultimately finished third, while his Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc won the grand prix.
