Lewis Hamilton explains 'old school' decision in rejecting vital Ferrari aid
Lewis Hamilton finished second at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, his best result as a Ferrari driver to date, after choosing not to use Ferrari's F1 simulator in his race preparation. The seven-time champion had previously abandoned the simulator following the Miami GP, believing it had led him to the wrong setup, and felt vindicated after taking third place in China without using it. Hamilton explained his 'old school' approach going forward, stating he may use the simulator in future only to correlate data from race weekends rather than for pre-race preparation.
