Lewis Hamilton handed F1 title boost as Ferrari upgrade set to deliver significant power gain

Ferrari are reportedly planning to introduce a second engine upgrade at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, expected to deliver around 15 horsepower — double the approximately 7hp gained from their first upgrade in Austria. The boost, which is the second allowed under F1's ADUO scheme, is theoretically worth around two tenths of a second per lap around the high-speed Monza circuit. The upgrade would benefit Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc as Ferrari look to overhaul Mercedes, whose drivers won the first six races of the season.
