Lewis Hamilton highlights missed Ferrari opportunity after costly Singapore gamble

Lewis Hamilton disobeyed a Ferrari pit call during the Singapore Grand Prix, choosing to stay out on old soft tyres in an attempt to make a one-stop strategy work while running in third place. The gamble backfired badly, as his deteriorating tyres allowed Charles Leclerc, Kimi Antonelli, Lando Norris, and Oscar Piastri to overtake him, dropping Hamilton to sixth place. The seven-time world champion apologised to his team over the radio immediately after the race and later posted a public apology on Instagram, acknowledging the costly mistake was entirely his fault.
